Thanks, Dan. We boomers have screwed up a lot — we need to do everything we can to effect a passing of the torch of democracy to these young people.
Yes, the values of equality, human freedom, and democracy are worth struggling for, standing up for, shouting out for … it’s just stunning how so many of our elected officials instead embrace brutality, illegality, and the inferiority of groups other than “their own”. Stunning!
