   Thanks, Dan. It is indeed a brilliant piece — David Brooks at his best. I strongly encourage people to read it. He makes the important point that Trump’s MAGA movement is cultural – and that a cultural movement is required to defeat it. This is something that the current leadership of the Democratic Party clearly does not understand.

   Brooks provides three actionable points for organizing a culturally-based opposition. It’s a blueprint for how to move forward.
