The grotesque metaphor of Trump tearing apart the figurative seat of American democracy

A great piece by Shalise Manza Young in The Contrarian about the travesty Trump has created at the historic White House … No respect for the traditions or history of the office.

Thanks, Dan. It is an excellent piece. The demolition literally makes me sick to my stomach. How can anyone — and I especially mean you, Republicans — sit by while Trump strokes his id at the cost of, as the article says, “our house.” Not his. This is a cultural crime, and those who have the ability to oppose it and don’t are fully complicit.
