    Well, it’s great to have yet another dictator to add to our comparative list. As usual, Snyder lays things out clearly and distinctly. He makes the case for the degree to which Miller’s methods mimic those of Stalin. One question I have is, what is the extent to which Miller is shielded by, indeed empowered by, Trump’s aegis, and how well could he stand on his own? If Trump shuffles off this mortal coil, what happens? I have thought that there would be so much infighting in the White House cohort that collapse would be a distinct possibility. No one can hold it together like Trump has. Is Miller a really savvy operator or a fortunate manipulator who happens to have landed on the right puppet?
